My Project 365 photos can be found on my flickr. This is one of my favorites so far :) Somehow January 3rds photo disappeared but I will find it and upload it too, for now I am going to sleep.

Projects and Other Things

If only I could be back here right now. I took this while on my road trip and wonderful vacation in Georgia. I have decided to attempt Project 365 which is explained better on Becky Higgins' Blog. I saw the project in the Creating Keepsakes magazine January 2009 issue and really liked the way they scrapbooked the photo for each day.

I don't have any completed layouts as of yet. And I defiantly couldn't afford the kit which had problems anyway. So I have decided to make my own method. I will use the layout/sketch that the project's page protectors make but on my own 12 x 12 paper. This a great first project to break into 12 x 12 scrapbooking as I have only done 8 x 8 so far. I will use the top four photos in 3.5 x 5 size with the journaling blocks along the bottom probably 3.5 X 2 in size.

I haven't completely made up my mind as not every page is going to be the same along the bottom. I have some great premade tag pads made by K&Company and ColorBok that I will be using as well. All in all my pages will be unique for each weeks photos. I also have decided to start with January 1st, I will just go from Thursday to Wednesday on each two page layout. Overall I will not push too hard for this challenge, and I find myself with to many things to take photos of each day. I may get around to posting them here along with the completed layouts, I might not. Right now I have other things to focus on. Like school and my living area :) I will make a new post for the photos I have so far.

Exhausted

So I finally made it home after the long ten hour drive from Georgia. Good thing I am tired it means I will sleep well tonight. I am sad to leave Hector and not be on vacation anymore. But I am very excited to start the new semester on January 19. Until then it is cleaning, laundry and more preparation for this new year.

Finally Home

So this photo is from Hector's graduation day. He looks so cute with his father and two younger brothers. After picking him up we went to visit his family in Florida and that is where I am now. I don't want this to end, I am too happy :)

I found this on flickr and it is exactly how I feel right now. My excitement and happiness is bubbling over everywhere and I just can't hold still! There are only 10 days until I get to go to South Carolina! I can not wait!!!! :)

Photograhy Outing

Just the Two of Us.

Hey! I spent a few hours this afternoon walking on the Noland Trail and taking photos. Then I went to target and got them scanned. Still using my mom's camera for fun. I know photography is over but my photographic journey is only beginning. Can't you just imagine sitting on those benches chatting about anything and everything? I can't wait until December 15th. Until then I will be imagining long hikes in the woods as far away from civilization as I can get, all with my sweet heart <3

Less than 40 days!

Gyah! There are less than 40 days until I get to see Hector! I am so excited! I got so much accomplished today too. It must be the research paper looming on the horizon that makes me get so much done. My room is so clean and I have a new layout finished for my scrapbook! XD
